The short version: I trained in medicine, then in business, and I write about the ground where they meet.
I'm a specialist physician based in Johannesburg, qualified at the University of the Witwatersrand (MBChB), with an MBA alongside it. I work clinically, I build ventures, and I write about both.
The thread through everything on this site is a single conviction: what has been placed in your hands — a patient, a business, a body of knowledge — is meant to be tended, not merely used. I write about artificial intelligence because it is quietly changing what tending means: what your business knows, where that knowledge goes, and who benefits from it.
Everything published here is checked against primary sources before it carries my name. Where something can't be verified, it says so. That discipline is the whole point.
A handbook for South African business owners on owning their intelligence in the AI age. A verified report on what nine AI systems actually do with your data. A guide to getting what you're owed in private healthcare. A novel. Several ventures still under wraps — see Projects.
